February 11th?????

I know I just wrote to everyone wondering how it got to be December...but now it's February 11th!!!!!!!! Why is time going by so fast? When will the merry-go-round stop so we can just sit and smell the roses? OK...I'm in New York City...not many rose bushes!!

Work, travelling to work, thinking about work, getting ready for work.....that seems to be my life lately....althoughhhhhh...I've fallen in love! For real people!!! He's amazing!!! I can't wait to introduce him to the World!!! He's my "tall glass of water"....6'8" to be exact, handsome, smart, all the good things! Helps me with my coat, open know what I mean ladies!!!! I feel complete and it feels amazing. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I didn't feel complete before...but I just feel happy and safe and ready to conquer the world...again!

So here it goes...home for 6 months. I've been up and down the same 20 pounds since I've been me that's a major accomplishment! I'm ready to tackle the last 45. I've been "ready"...but it's been a struggle. I must confess here....if not here..where????? :)

I've joined Weight Watchers 2 weeks ago and have lost 5 pounds. Not my typical 10 pounds in one week that I'm used to....but I'm not the same as I used to be either! Slow and steady for now. Tonight I had an eggroll, hot & sour soup and steamed vegetable dumplings. YUM! Not exactly low salt...but that's OK. I try to keep my sodium between 1000 and 1500. I'm very consious of it. If I can lose the last 45 pounds like this...I'll be incredibly happy! Truly, there is not reason I shouldn't! I have to get my "piss and vinegar" back...which is coming back slowly!!! ain't easy...I don't have to tell you!!!

So that's a quick update! I promise to be more attentive to everyone here!! Thank you so much for all of your can't imagine how much they mean to me!!!!

Continue to keep me posted on how everyone is doing!!!!!!!!!!!

Susan :)

Wow, I envy you. 'Gratz on all your successes as well as your "tall drink of water."

I think your segue from the Rice Diet into Weight Watchers is a perfect plan for you. Please keep us posted on your progress. Even a short sentence once a week on your weight loss would satisfy my curiosity.

Hi Susan,
very inspiring story, you sound delighted with life! - congratulations on such a great achievement. I was intrigued to read on your blog that you've recently joined weight watchers - how are you finding the weight watchers experience?
Easy? Are the groups good? Do you use the points or core plan? How about the products?

I've recently joined myself and i'd be interested in your thoughts.
