Exercise...Exercise...Come On Everybody Do Your Exercise!!!

Hey All!!!

I know...corney title!!! But that's what I want to say a few words about. I read this amazing article in the New York Times (Online) and wanted to share it with everyone. Below is the link. Basically, regardless of your weight, doing ANY sort of exercise is going to help almost ANYTHING that you have wrong with you. Amazing!!! It may not CURE what you have, but it will certainly help and couldn't hurt! So let me tell you what I've been doing.....

As I have always said in the past...it's all about priorities. So I found myself NOT going to the gym as much as I would like and when I was at the gym I wasn't getting the kind of workout that I'm used to getting. Folks...this was NOT making me happy and certainly wasn't helping me achieve my goals! So I broke down, readjusted my budget and hired a trainer!!! It's ALL about priorties ladies and gentlemen! So I've cut back in certain areas, stopped taking NYC cabs!, and started to budget almost every penny that comes out of my pocket. All so I could meet some cutie 28 year old at 7am 3 times per week!! (Ok...not such a bad thing!! LOL!) But let me tell you, when you're paying money for someone to train you, you'll see how fast you get your butt to the gym in the morning!!! I bought a package of 24 sessions and it has rejunvenated me sooooo much! I was going to buy another 10 sessions, but I think I'm good for now and if I need another push sometime in the fall I'll buy it then. Right now, I'm doing great and getting back to an exercise routine that is healthy and keeping me happy!!!!

Listen, I get it. The struggle isn't easy. Remember those hard 40 last pounds that I wrote about...well....still trying everyone!!!! We're in this together and we'll conquer it all...TOGETHER!

Exerise!!! No matter where you are in your weight loss...whether you are just THINKING about starting, just starting, in the middle of it all, or at your goal....get out and MOVE!!!!!!!!!!! It can only benefit you!!!

Keep me posted...and keep those beautiful smiles!!

Warmly, Susan

You are so right, Susan. Exercise really does improve quality of life, and its benefits are endless-mental, physical, emotional. You don't have to go to a gym or work out for hours, either. Start by taking a walk, even if it is in your living room! Soon, you will find that you are able (and want!) to do more, and feeling better about yourself helps keep your eating in check! My sisters and I loved your book, Susan, and I wish you all the best!
