I too saw your article! Wow you are beautiful. Pray for me. 20 pounds the first week would be good! I tend to give up to easy if I don't see results. I am at the desperate point now. Hope it will curb the cravings. Diet cokes are hard to give up! Thanks for the inspiration! You can certainly lose the 30 after all those! Keep it up! The Lord will give you strength!

okay...first of all, it made me sad to see your first picture in the hallway...because, i know that you are the same, beautiful person, in both of your pictures. Second of all, I know the feeling of being beautiful, yet hating my fat...because clothes don't look the same as they do laid out on the bed, with your belly bulging..just a fact...and it's hard to be sexual when somewhere deep inside says "Hold in your stomach! Turn out the lights!" Sad, really...makes me want to just be me and find the man that loves me, at 140, 240, or 340...but, I am a product of my upbringing, i guess...because I don't see myself as beautiful, in a sexual way, unless i am smaller. I start the rice diet on Monday. ..thanks for being so real.

I have never been so heavy. As a result of gaining so much weight I have become very depressed (which makes me want to eat more) you figure!

I read your diet plan and want to start right away. I am motivated and are ready to start right now. I pray that your plan is as successful as you stated. I will keep you posted on my progress.

I just read your article and you have inspired me to go get the book and give the rice diet a try. Can I ask you what was your exercise program when you first started? Did you have any problems because you lost the weight so fast? You look so fabulous, how did you keep your skin from sagging? Any tips you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing your story.

I saw the article today and hope this is the one, finally, for me. I am 48 yrs old and in the last 2 1/2 years have gone from a size 12 to a 3X. Nothing seems to work, and I am always hungry! Hope I do as well as you, you look beautiful! I just want my life back!

Okay - Sue, You're my inspiration! I saw the article as I was checking out at the grocery store on Saturday and now I'm heading back to the store to purchase the proper foods. I'm so tired of being like this. I'm just so unhealthy and feel miserable about myself! I've gone from 150 lbs, to 230 lbs, to 140 lbs, back up to 200 lbs! Now it's time to get on track and STAY on track. I have kicked the habit of smoking, I can do this as well - the power of positive thinking!
Thank you!

WOW !!! You look awesome ! I was so motivated after reading you're article that I started yesterday. I weigh 280 lbs and the number keeps going up. I was wondering how long are you suppose to follow the plan that is in the magazine before you start adding things. I am following the plan that is in the magazine and not eating anything in between. I was wondering if I could save a fruit for a snack or do I have to follow it to the letter. I want so much for this to work.
I'm glad I found your website. I love reading from others that contact you too. Take care

I'm proud of you!

I'm also at my heaviest due to hypothyroid and menapause. Carbs have always been my problem though - protein and veggies help me lose. What is different with the Rice Diet vs. South Beach or Atkins or Weight Watchers or anything else?

I picked up the magazine with your article in it last week--20lbs. in a week, that would be awesome! I started the diet yesterday and have already lost 5lbs. I am so excited! I'm following the sample menus How long should I stick with these before I try some other recipes? How did you first start exercising? It really makes me think anything is possible if you put your heart, mind and soul to it. Thank you so much for opening yourself up to us. It really makes me feel I'm not alone. Your quite an inspiration. You look Fantastic!

I am 66 yrs. old. 5'3" and was 212 lbs. when I picked up the magazine with the rice diet. I started the diet Monday with the Jumpstart day, Tuesday the Protein day. Wednesday, Thurs. and today Friday the "all other days. The first 2 days was easiest. Can I do the jumpstar and Protein days more then once a week? This morning I weighed 209 so it is working for me.I would like to know if fish or lean poultry can be used on "other" days?
Thank You!
